Colour By Numbers - Day 132

It's Sunday, March 8th and Day 132. I know, I used the U.K. spelling of Colour for the title- call it an homage to one of my favorite 80's bands. I'll let you guess which one. Anyhow, it's time to get serious about choosing our paint colors for inside the house. We called on a local interior designer who happens to live up the street from us to help out. In the panoramic shot below of our living area, you can see that we're focusing on some version of a light gray for much of this section of the house.
Below is a shot of the second floor landing area and you can see the designer checking out the sample swatches and comparing them to other samples she brought with her. It's amazing how different the same color can look in varying levels of light.
You think the color looks perfect in one room in a certain light and then you look at the same one in another room and all of the sudden you're not so sure. Oh well.
The next picture is for Grace's room. She wants green and it will be used on at least one, if not two, accent walls. The rest of her room will be white. Which one do you think SHE chose! :-)
I know I left you hanging on the previous post regarding the exterior color of the house. Remember how I said it was a trick question and that all three samples were variations of white? Well, it turns out we're going with a very pale gray. I haven't even seen a test sample of it yet. Until then...
